Review of SEIKO Prospex Street Sports Watch with Silicone Band - SNE535P1

FEATURES

The Seiko Prospex Solar Street Series Olive SNE535P1 features their proprietary Solar caliber V157 that operates for a good 10 months when fully charged. It has an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. The watch uses low key colors on its case, bezel, strap, and dial. However, it has the same legibility as the rest of the Seiko divers due to its large and lumed hour markers and wide hands. The crown has screw-down protection to prevent it from being pulled out by any accidental operation. Greater security is achieved by positioning the screw-lock crown at the 4 o'clock position.

DESIGN

Displays date at the 4 o'clock position. Hardlex crystal lens. 200 meters water-resistant. Reinforced silicone band that can withstand harsh operating environments. Navy silicone strap watch finished with a buckle clasp to ensure security on the wrist. The classic styling of this piece gives it an understated look while keeping all of the features of a divers watch. The easy to read dial features luminous indexes and hands. The precise and safe operation of the uni-directional bezel prevents accidental rotation. This is to prevent the watch from displaying the elapsed time shorter than it actually is. There are three color variants namely blue (SNE533P1), green (SNE535P1) and grey (SNE537P1).

The design of this model echoes that of the iconic shrouded diver from 1975 except it is executed with a modern style. It is smaller and lightweight, thus making it more suitable for daily use.
